"I started Cross Fit-(more like got dragged by my marine corp husband) at the very end of August 2008. After observing from the sidelines, I thought WHAT ARE YOU NUTS, I can’t do that! I had spent my whole life dancing and being in shape-but I had never done a push up, squat, or pull up EVER! Well, I had just had a baby in May and was not losing my baby weight. After talking to Jenn I got inspired, and I got hooked fast. Pretty soon, I completed my first filthy fifty and was finally dropping the first of the dreaded baby weight. After finally getting on board with the diet in February 2009, I really started seeing results. I lost 35 lbs by July 2009 and am now fitting into a size 6, which I haven’t seen since high school. I even got my first kipping pull up a few weeks ago. I am enjoying the energy and the active lifestyle I always wanted for my family. Cross Fit may be a little CRAZY:), but the results are worth it! Toby and Jenn are incredible trainers who will take care of you physically and emotionally as you work towards your individual goals."

Toby & Jen Shell are two of the most influential strength and conditioning coaches that I have ever worked with. Their understanding of my personal needs, as well as their overall knowledge, insight, and abilities is incredible. They have a unique ability to teach the basic skills, as well as the ability to create high level programming specific to each individual athlete's needs. I've been truly amazed at the strength gains I've made while working with them. Simply put, having Jen & Toby on your side is an advantage in whatever fitness goals you are looking to accomplish.

Through Jenn and the other trainers at Crossfit Lake City I have accomplished so many things that I never thought possible. I have been going to Crossfit since March and have had amazing boosts in my performance and endurance, have made huge steps in the amount of weight I can safely lift, and not to mention Ive lost 10 inches in a matter of monthes. I love how my body feels and looks and its great to have such a family atmosphere in the gym. I have done marathons and triathalons in the past and have trained for hours on end every day and wasnt in nearly as good of shape as I am now. I cant wait for my next race with Jenns help I know I will beat all my previous records.
